ABC Sunrooms & Windows is a family-owned and operated company specializing in sunrooms, screen rooms, windows, doors, and outdoor living projects. We are the local licensed dealer for Four Seasons Sunrooms and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our growing team and take a leadership role in our residential construction projects.

Position Overview:

The Carpenter Foreman will be responsible for leading and supervising job-site crews while performing hands-on carpentry and construction work. The ideal candidate is an experienced carpenter who can read plans, solve problems in the field, maintain quality standards, and keep projects moving efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You should be comfortable working alongside your crew while also managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the job site.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise carpentry and construction crews on residential projects.

Perform framing, finish carpentry, roofing, siding, window and door installation, and other construction tasks.

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and measurements

Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and company quality standards

Coordinate daily job-site activities and assign tasks to crew members

Monitor job-site safety, cleanliness, and organization

Communicate with customers professionally while working on their property

Identify and resolve construction issues and field conditions

Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy

Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to management

Properly use and maintain tools and equipment

Ensure materials are handled and installed correctly

Train and mentor less-experienced crew members

Communicate material needs and job-site issues before they delay a project

Qualifications:

3+ years of residential carpentry/construction experience

Previous experience leading a crew or working as a foreman is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of residential framing and general construction

Ability to read construction plans and accurately take measurements

Strong understanding of construction tools and equipment

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Good communication and leadership skills

Professional appearance and attitude

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding construction work

Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the surrounding service area

Preferred Experience:

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Sunroom or screen room construction

Residential additions

Framing

Roofing

Siding

Windows and exterior doors

Decks and porches

Finish carpentry

Remodeling

Construction crew leadership
