Location: Boothwyn Pharmacy & Apothecary

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM-4:30PM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary

Boothwyn Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to join our Fulfillment team. In this role, you will oversee prescription fulfillment operations during your shift, ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, provide exceptional patient care, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to deliver accurate, high-quality compounded and prescription medications.

Responsibilities

Verify and dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Supervise fulfillment staff and workflow during assigned shifts.

Ensure accurate preparation, documentation, and quality of compounded and prescription medications.

Review patient medication profiles for accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic appropriateness.

Counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and nutritional supplements.

Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, nurses, and healthcare providers regarding prescriptions and medication therapy.

Assist with shipping and handling of prescription orders when needed.

Follow all company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required.

Additional state pharmacist licenses are a plus or willingness to obtain as needed.

Retail, compounding, or fulfillment pharmacy experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of third-party billing preferred.

Experience with pharmacy software such as The Compounder or QS/1 is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.

Regular use of hands for medication preparation and computer work.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Ability to work in a pharmacy production environment.
