Daily Operations Management: Oversee the daily functioning of the nursing home, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Staff Supervision: Manage, mentor, and supervise staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the facility complies with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations.

Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.

Resident Care Coordination: Communicate with residents and their families regarding healthcare needs and concerns, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.

Policy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care and operational efficiency.

Crisis Management: Prepare for and respond to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is typically required; many administrators hold a Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare management.

Licensure: State licensure as a nursing home administrator is required, which may involve passing a national exam and meeting continuing education requirements.
