As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily duties will include but are not limited to:\n\n

Managing a diverse caseload of clients, fostering rapport, and building professional relationships while adhering to ethical guidelines.\n

Conducting regular meetings to assess client progress, ensuring that treatment plans remain effective and relevant.\n

Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with your clients.\n

Maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.\n

Conducting intake assessments to evaluate new clients' mental health conditions and needs.\n

Providing individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to youth populations.\n

Engaging in individual supervision sessions to enhance professional growth and clinical competency.\n

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize clients' care and outcomes.\n

Your primary focus will be on youth, providing mental health services that address both psychiatric conditions and challenges related to substance abuse. Understanding the unique pressures and experiences faced by young clients is essential for delivering effective therapy, and you will be expected to tailor interventions accordingly.Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:\n\n

Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.\n

Current active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).\n

Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements necessary for clinical practice.\n

A minimum of one year experience in mental health settings, specifically working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.\n

Demonstrated proficiency and experience in both assessment and diagnosis as well as individual and group therapy settings.\n

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records.\nPreferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:\n\n

Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices, especially suited for the current trend towards virtual mental health services.\n
