Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to provide crucial support to clients while collaborating seamlessly with a multi-disciplinary team. Working primarily with individuals facing substance use issues, you will engage in virtual therapy sessions and will have access to various telehealth tools to ensure effective client interaction and support.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Expression Behavioral Healthcare, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Engage in regular communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential complications related to ongoing treatment.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to devise comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate psychosocial assessments and recognized social work methodologies.

Conduct therapeutic sessions, providing crisis intervention, counseling, and emotional support to clients with diverse behavioral health challenges.

Coordinate effectively with clients' families and support systems outlining treatment approaches and discharge planning strategies to facilitate successful recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on clients in a detoxification program, requiring a nuanced understanding of the complexities of substance use disorders. You will apply your skills to support individuals navigating the early stages of sobriety by offering tailored therapeutic approaches that address both emotional and behavioral aspects of recovery. The diverse mix of clients will present unique challenges, allowing you to employ your expertise in various therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

An active LCSW license from the state of Pennsylvania.

A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting, particularly working with clients experiencing substance use disorders.

Proficiency with technology, including familiarization with electronic medical records and a strong competency in standard office software (MS Office suite).

A self-directed work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate a remote working environment effectively.

Preferred Experience
