As an LCSW, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and children, primarily working from home while utilizing virtual communication tools to connect with clients and stakeholders.
Regular team meetings and supervision sessions will ensure that you remain supported in your role and continue to develop professionally.Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Compassionate Care Counseling, your responsibilities will include:\n\n Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and families in line with developmental milestones.\n Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring family engagement and collaboration throughout the process.\n Monitoring outcomes and progress as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and observations that inform treatment adjustments and support strategies.\n Providing direct support and counseling to families, equipping them with resources and techniques to foster their child's development in the natural learning environment.\n Utilizing evidence-based practices to create personalized strategies tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.\n Engaging in ongoing professional development and compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations governing clinical practice.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on young children aged birth to three years, particularly those experiencing developmental delays or disabilities.
The role entails addressing various domains of development including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.
By working closely with families, you will support their endeavors to nurture their child's growth and provide guidance on best practices for early intervention.Qualifications\n To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:\n\n Hold a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.\n Possess an active LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.\n Have at least one year of relevant experience working with children in early intervention settings.\n Demonstrate a strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.\n Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.\n Be respectful, collaborative, and adaptable to the various learning styles of children.\n Have a valid driver’s license, as travel may be required for certain evaluations or meetings.\n Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.\nPreferred Experience\n Experience in early childhood development, particularly in direct family engagement and intervention strategies, is preferred.
