Communication will primarily take place through video conferencing and digital platforms, ensuring continuity of care and a sense of community among therapists and clients alike.Key Responsibilities\n\n Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, which include diagnostic assessments and creating personalized treatment plans.\n Deliver individual, group, or family therapy sessions using proven evidence-based modalities tailored to the unique backgrounds and goals of each client.\n Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and safety while developing a plan for ongoing care.\n Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.\n Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and additional healthcare providers—to coordinate client care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.\n Educate clients and their families on various mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, offering advocacy to address their needs effectively.\n Commit to ongoing professional development by engaging in training, workshops, and peer supervision to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n You will serve a diverse population, including individuals facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions.
Your expertise will be crucial in creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, and your compassionate approach will help them navigate their mental health journeys.
Working with various client demographics ensures that you are adapting and applying therapeutic techniques relevant to each person’s unique experience.Qualifications\n\n A valid and active license as a Mental Health Therapist in Massachusetts (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) is required.\n A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.\n Strong assessment and diagnostic skills are essential for effective client evaluations.\n At least two years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health counseling is required.\n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client populations and community partners.\n Ability to work independently while also embracing a collaborative team approach.\n A commitment to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards in service delivery.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Previous experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment is advantageous.\n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred.\n Experience conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating workshops for clients.\nCompensation and Benefits\n This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
