Collaboration with our dedicated team is easily facilitated through regular virtual meetings and shared digital resources.Key Responsibilities\n\n Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients, which includes evaluating their mental health needs, treatment history, and personal goals.\n Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual circumstances and needs of each client, while also incorporating evidence-based therapeutic practices.\n Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using various modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other interventions as appropriate.\n Monitor client progress in therapy, adjusting treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback to maximize client outcomes.\n Guide clients through financial and emotional commitments of treatment, empowering them with information to navigate their options effectively.\n Incorporate psychoeducation to promote understanding of mental health issues and strategies for self-care, resilience, and sustainable coping.\n Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in telehealth counseling.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns.

Your ability to provide culturally sensitive and empathetic care will be critical in addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.Qualifications\n\n A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.\n Must be a licensed professional counselor, registered and able to practice in Connecticut.\n Demonstrated experience in individual and group therapeutic settings, ideally with a focus on telehealth.\n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.\n Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.\n Strong community orientation and commitment to providing culturally congruent therapy and support.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting, with an adaptable approach to technology.\n Proficiency in additional languages is preferred, allowing for greater accessibility and connection with clients.\n A background in crisis intervention and support can be an asset in this role.\nCompensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
