Position Overview\n The Healing Mind and Soul Center is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to deliver critical therapeutic services to children and families across Eugene, Oregon.

This full-time position allows for remote work while also providing outpatient office support, catering specifically to children with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges.

However, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients in our outpatient office, allowing for effective in-person therapy sessions when needed.

The dynamic nature of our work environment encourages teamwork and collaboration with a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring a holistic support system for the families we serve.Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Healing Mind and Soul Center, you will:\n\n Conduct individual therapy sessions in-home or at our outpatient facility, employing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the needs of each child.\n Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote social skills, manage anger, and provide coping strategies for high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression.\n Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to treatment and support for the youth and their families.\n Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to strict timelines.\n Engage in monthly team meetings to share insights and make recommendations for improving client care.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n You will primarily work with a diverse population of children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who are facing a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This role not only focuses on the individual treatment of children but also emphasizes empowering caregivers with skills and strategies to address behavioral challenges within the home environment.

You will be a vital component in driving their growth and enhancing their overall quality of life.Qualifications\n The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:\n\n A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.\n An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Oregon.\n Availability for a minimum of 5 to 10 hours per week during after-school hours, typically between 4 PM and 7 PM, with additional weekend availability preferred.\n A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes or our office.\n Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.\nPreferred Experience\n While not mandatory, candidates with experience will have a competitive edge.

Preferred qualifications include:\n\n Experience in providing positive behavior support and implementing behavior intervention plans.\n Prior work with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).\n Familiarity with family dynamics and the challenges faced by caregivers of children with special needs.\nCompensation and Benefits\n The compensation range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
