As part of a forward-thinking team, you will have the opportunity to grow and innovate within the mental health field.Key Responsibilities\n\n Conduct in-depth assessments to gauge the psychological needs and progress of clients.\n Develop and implement individualized therapy plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused strategies.\n Engage with clients in various settings - including individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions - to strengthen their emotional resilience and coping skills.\n Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, contributing to treatment plans and ensuring each client receives comprehensive support.\n Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health care.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n Your work will involve a diverse range of clients, from individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, or trauma, to those in need of support in substance use recovery and other mental health challenges.

Your role will be crucial in tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, ultimately fostering their journey toward wellness.Qualifications\n\n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is a prerequisite.\n An active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut is required.\n A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role.\n A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.\n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.\n Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.\n Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling.\n Experience using telehealth platforms for delivering therapy sessions, with an understanding of virtual engagement strategies.\nCompensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by monthly productivity bonuses.
