This work setting allows you to connect with clients effectively while managing your professional responsibilities within a supportive team-oriented atmosphere.Key Responsibilities\n\n \n Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment interventions.\n \n Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are uniquely tailored to the goals and circumstances of each client.\n \n Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using various therapeutic interventions to best serve our diverse client population.\n \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.\n \n Maintain thorough and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that all sensitive information is protected.\n \n Participate in and contribute to regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and continuous professional development to enhance counseling practices.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients facing varying mental health challenges.
You will support individuals navigating issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Your role will be instrumental in helping clients develop the skills and coping mechanisms necessary for achieving emotional stability and overall well-being.Qualifications\n\n \n A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.\n \n A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.\n \n Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions within diverse mental health settings.\n \n Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies relevant to mental health care.\n \n Exceptional ability to cultivate lasting rapport with clients from various backgrounds, fostering an atmosphere of trust and understanding.\n \n Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enhancing your capability to document client progress and articulate treatment strategies effectively.\n \n A steadfast commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.\nPreferred Experience\n\n \n Previous experience in providing therapy in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to facilitate client sessions.\n \n Demonstrated ability to implement creative therapy solutions tailored to various therapeutic challenges.\n \n Background in working in outpatient mental health practices, addressing both acute and chronic psychological disorders.\nCompensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, depending on experience, along with bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
