High Disinfection Level Screener

(1st Shift) Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM

We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include:

Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes)

Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)

Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)

HLD/Scope experience

Sterile Storage

OR Liaison experience

Censitrac Tracking system experience

Familiar with endoscope reprocessing (Medivator, Scope Buddy)

CBSPD or CRCST required

Candidate Eligibility Restrictions:

Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible.

Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.

Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible.

Current contractors who are already within the 50-mile radius may complete their existing contract and extend up to the one-year maximum contract limit.

Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com):

The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits.

The WMC permit is available monthly.

WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage — $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.

WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service — $196.20/year.

CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 — $393.96/year.

WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3–5 weeks.
