Farm Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures that biosecurity protocols are complied with.

Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds.

Initiates prompt identification and medication of sick animals.

Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observation as basis for proper treatment.

Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts.

Oversees vaccination based on protocol.

Monitors the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedure in Wean to Finish.

Performs the planning of working schedule for subordinates to sustain manpower requirement.

Consults and coordinates with the Farm Manager regarding matters that need to be addressed in the specific area of responsibility.

Perform other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science or related fields.

With at least 7-8 years of experience in a swine farm handling managerial roles.

Willing to stay-in the farm premises at Argao/ Pinamungajan

High problem-solving skills.

Above average written and conversational skills.
