CDR General Services is seeking a Production Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable and effective individual with a strong work ethic, capable of performing basic manual labor, completing assigned tasks efficiently, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Location: Convent, LA

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Manually move steel, stock, and other materials as required

Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine job tasks and material needs

Move materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by hand or using equipment such as forklifts, trucks, or cranes

Sort cargo prior to loading and unloading

Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently

Transport tools and supplies from storage areas or trucks to job sites and return them after use

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

Ability to perform basic manual labor in an industrial or production environment

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Ability to follow written work orders and verbal instructions

Prior warehouse, production, or general labor experience preferred

Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus, not required)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
