Job Description

Pain Management Nurse Practitioner

Groth Pain & Spine — Long Island, NY

Join Long Island's Premier Pain Management Practice

Groth Pain & Spine is a rapidly growing, multidisciplinary pain management practice seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside board-certified Pain Management Physicians and a collaborative team of NPs, PAs, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers — all under one roof, all focused on delivering exceptional, whole-patient care.

We are proud to offer a culture built on mentorship, professional growth, and clinical excellence. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply — we invest heavily in training, including hands-on instruction with advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, and we support your continued education through dedicated CME funding.

What You'll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner at Groth Pain & Spine, you'll manage a diverse caseload of patients experiencing acute, chronic, and post-surgical pain. Your day-to-day will include:

Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic pain conditions

Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing individualized treatment plans

Administering procedures such as trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections

Prescribing medications and coordinating multimodal treatment approaches, including physical and occupational therapy, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive interventions

Facilitating referrals and coordinating care with collaborating physicians and specialists

Building lasting, trust-based relationships with patients throughout their care journey

What We're Looking For

Current NP or PA licensure in New York State

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ANP) by an accredited certifying body (ANCC or AANP).

A compassionate, patient-first mindset paired with the drive to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting

Confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Natural leadership qualities and sound clinical judgment

Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right candidate

Why Join Groth Pain & Spine

Competitive compensation with performance bonuses

Full health insurance coverage

Matched 401(k)

Generous PTO and paid holidays

CME funding and hands-on training on state-of-the-art ultrasound technology

A genuine culture of mentorship, collaboration, and career growth

Please note: this position requires travel between multiple practice locations.
