G.Johnson and Son is currently seeking a seasoned Controller for our

Evanston, IL location. The Controller will manage all aspects of

accounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, project accounting, payroll, accounts

payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and revenue recognition.

Core Responsibilities:

Oversee monthly accounting close process

Oversees accounting inventory values and procedures

Responsible for cash flow reporting

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

Maintain fixed assets records

The ability to interface with outside accounting firm to coordinate flow of financials for

income tax purposes.

Leads Accounting Team by evaluating the performance of personnel, recommend

continuous improvement ideas, and participate in hiring, training and evaluating

performance of team

Performs General and Project Accountant duties as needed

Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 10+ years of relevant Accounting experience is required.

• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office programs required.

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislation.

• Managerial experience is required.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.

• Team player and able to work with various partners, including some high profile, from start to

finish.
