Environmental Compliance Specialist

At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Serve as an Environmental Compliance specialist for the National Park Service (NPS).

Enter projects into the NPS Planning, Environment & Public Comment (PEPC) System.

Review projects for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESP), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Commercial (or Special) Use Authorization (CUA or SUP), Concessions, and other compliance requirements.

Draft compliance documents and reports including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EA), Categorical Exclusions, etc.
