DescriptionSeeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students for the 2026–2027 school year running ASAP through May 21, 2027. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week working in a resource classroom environment across grades 3–6.
Position Responsibilities
Deliver targeted instruction and intervention for elementary students (grades 3–6) with mild-to-moderate learning disabilities in a resource setting.
Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), monitoring student goals and ensuring full compliance with state standards.
Facilitate classroom routines, track academic progress, and implement effective learning strategies tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with school staff, interdisciplinary team members, and parents to support holistic student growth.
Required Qualifications
Active Ohio Intervention Specialist (OH IS) Teaching Certification.
Experience writing IEPs, managing caseloads, and providing resource room instruction for elementary grades.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
