Talent Acquisition Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team while assisting with candidate sourcing and recruitment activities. This position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring compliance with employment requirements, and supporting the hiring process from sourcing through onboarding. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and HR teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of talent acquisition processes.

Essential Functions

Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.

Build and maintain pipelines of talent for current and future hiring needs.

Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates for recruiter review.

Support recruiting events, career fairs, and internship recruiting initiatives.

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Manage interview logistics, including meeting invitations, room reservations, and candidate communications.

Serve as primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process.

Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communications and follow up.

Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.

Monitor offer activity and track pre-employment processes, including background checks.

Assist with new employee set up and onboarding preparation, including communications and document completion.

Support special projects and process improvement initiatives within Talent Acquisition.

Preferred Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field

2 - 3 years Experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition coordination, or administrative support

2 - 3 years Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred)

2 - 3 years Experience in candidate sourcing

2 - 3 years Experience with employment verification, I-9 administration, or E-Verify

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and CoPilot

Travel Requirements Occasional travel to support career fairs, university functions, or community activities as needed
