Overview
Lead a multi-shift manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees. Responsible for overall plant performance, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial results. Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership development while ensuring customer commitments are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations, including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics
Ensure achievement of production targets, on-time delivery, operational goals, and P&L objectives
Monitor and improve plant performance using KPIs and operational metrics
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to improve operational performance
Manage budgets, cost control, and overall plant financial performance
Develop and mentor leadership teams, supporting workforce planning and succession planning
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, procurement, and commercial operations to align manufacturing priorities and capacity planning
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience
Strong P&L ownership
Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a plant operations environment
Strong leadership, team-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skill
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and operational performance management
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred
Demonstrated success leading plant operations, safety programs, and financial performance
7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
