Experience: Prior experience in sterile processing with all areas of department functions, including decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, sterilized storage, OR liaison, and tracking systems Pay & Benefits:

Decontaminate all surgical instruments, scopes, drills, and specialized equipment
Assemble instruments for various service lines, including trauma and loaner cases
Operate sterilization equipment (Sterrad and steam sterilizers)
Handle high-level disinfection and scope management
Manage sterile storage areas
Serve as an OR liaison to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Maintain accurate tracking of all items using Censitrac or similar systems
Float between OSU locations as needed, supporting busy surgical services What You Need:
CRCST or CSPDT certification required
Prior sterile processing experience, preferably in a Level One trauma setting
Strong understanding of sterilization processes, OR procedures, and tracking systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols About the Assignment:
This position is based at a busy Level One trauma facility, supporting surgical services with high-volume and complex cases. Your role will be vital in maintaining sterile and safe environments for patient care. Floating between multiple facility locations may be required.
