Maintenance Technician

Pick your shift: 9am to 5pm, 11am to 7pm, or 12pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday, at The Shores, a senior living community a short walk from the Ocean City beach and boardwalk. Full-time, $17.49 to $18.65 per hour based on experience.

The Shores is home to independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab. As our Maintenance Technician, you keep their homes safe, comfortable, and working, and you get to know the people you're doing it for. What you'll do

Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs

Respond to resident and staff work orders and close them out in our maintenance system

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment

Keep inspection logs and maintenance records accurate and up to date

Order and organize tools, parts, and supplies so the shop is always ready

Help keep apartments, hallways, and common areas safe for residents, families, and staff

What you'll need

Required

High school diploma or GED

Able to read work orders, safety labels, and equipment instructions in English

Pass a drug screen and background check

Flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available)

Preferred

Hands-on repair experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing

Maintenance experience in senior living, healthcare, hotels, or apartment communities

Pay and benefits

$17.49 to $18.65 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Choose 9am to 5pm, 11am to 7pm, or 12pm to 8pm. Weekends and holidays are covered on a rotation.
