A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Supply Chain Systems & Process Lead to bridge the gap between business operations and enterprise applications. This individual will partner closely with supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and operations leadership to improve business processes, drive system adoption, and maximize the value of existing technology investments.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep supply chain and manufacturing knowledge with experience supporting enterprise business systems. The successful candidate will help translate operational needs into scalable solutions while promoting best practices across multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between business operations and enterprise application teams supporting supply chain and manufacturing functions.

Partner with operations, procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, and logistics leaders to improve process efficiency and system utilization.

Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Guide business users toward best practices and greater adoption of available system capabilities.

Work alongside internal technology teams, external service providers, and business stakeholders to support ongoing initiatives and enhancements.

Support user training, process documentation, and change management efforts.

Assist with data integrity, reporting, and analytical initiatives that support operational decision-making.

Participate in projects related to supply chain transformation, manufacturing excellence, and operational improvements.

Travel periodically to manufacturing and distribution sites to understand business processes and build relationships with operational teams.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, business systems, or a related function.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes including planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing operations.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to improve processes and drive operational outcomes.

Ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

Experience supporting ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, or enterprise business applications.

Background working with manufacturing, distribution, or industrial organizations.

Experience participating in system implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives.

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and change management practices.

Experience collaborating with external consulting or managed services partners.

Certifications Preferred

One or more of the following certifications is highly desirable:

CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management)

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

SCPro

APICS certifications

Other recognized Supply Chain Management certifications
