Grattan Private Duty Nursing is urgently hiring a Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized care for a client.

Unlike facility nursing, private-duty nursing allows you to focus on one client, build a meaningful relationship and provide high-quality care in a calm home environment.

Responsibilities

Depending on the client’s care plan, responsibilities may include:

Medication administration

Respiratory treatments

Skin and wound assessments

G-tube or J-tube feeding and care

Seizure monitoring and management

Ventilator and tracheostomy care

Colostomy or catheter care

Assistance with activities of daily living

Accurate documentation through a user-friendly eMAR

These responsibilities align with the complex RN and LPN services Grattan provides, including wound care, ventilator and tracheostomy care, medication administration, ostomy management and enteral feeding.

Minimum qualifications

Active Minnesota Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing

Ability to pass a criminal background study

Ability to complete required agency training

Dependable transportation to the client’s home

Compassionate and reliable approach to patient care
