CHS has partnered with a long-standing local manufacturer to add a reliable and safety-conscious Grinding Room Operator to their team. This role involves grinding glass materials into fine powder, adding color agents when required, and maintaining a clean, well-organized work area. Ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who values hands-on, steady-paced work in a safety-driven environment.

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $18.00/hour

What You'll Do

Load glass product into grinder using a scoop to process materials into powder form

Add coloring agents to batches as specified by production requirements

Wear appropriate PPE, including respirator, gloves, safety glasses, and lumbar support belt when lifting 25+ lbs

Maintain cleanliness in the grinding area

Observe and comply with all company safety and environmental policies What We're Looking For:

Prior manufacturing experience highly preferred

Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE

Ability to work in a dusty environment while maintaining quality standards

Physically capable of standing, lifting, and performing manual tasks throughout the shift

Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to follow all safety training and procedures
