TRUSS LEAD

Full-time Two shifts available

Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity

We are seeking experienced Truss Leads to supervise a production team and assist with the construction of roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

* Lead, train, and support truss assembly team members

* Read and understand shop drawings and work orders

* Accurately set up truss jigs for production

* Measure and cut wood at the required angles

* Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications

* Install gussets and connector plates

* Operate roller machines and other production equipment

* Move, stack, and organize completed trusses

* Monitor production quality and safety

* Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

Minimum one year of truss-building or related leadership experience

Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately

Basic math and measurement skills

Strong communication and team-leadership abilities

Reliable, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical work

High school diploma or GED preferred

Must pass a background check and drug screening
