Job Description

$42,000 - $45,000 salary plus benefits - DOE

Responsibilities:

Obtain, review, and clarify purchase agreements, contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to ensure successful closing

Collaborate with the title examiner to issue the title policy

Assure all escrow transactions and escrow accounts are handled in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations

Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders

Coordinate and interact professionally with industry contacts and influencers including loan officers, underwriters, builders, brokers and REALTORS.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required — work experience or college degree preferred

Firm understanding of real estate law, title and insurance, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Possess a strong understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts

3+ years of real estate closing escrow transactions experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial

Experienced with software using escrow / title functions

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
