Job Description

Blunier Builders, Inc. is a post frame building company located in Washington, IL that specializes in post frame buildings (pole buildings) for a variety of applications including agriculture, residential, and commercial use. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in our Design/Estimating department. The individual will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. We offer competitive pay based on experience as well as great benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

Build complete sets of Architectural building plans from written contracts with a CAD drafting program, including building plans & layouts, sections, custom details, truss drawings, etc.

Accurately perform material take offs

Peer review drawings and material order lists

Assemble final project material lists and drawings

Subcontractor and supplier solicitation and analysis

Job Qualifications:

Ability to adapt and meet deadlines.

Detail Oriented is a must

Good Organizational skills

Self Motivated

Strong team player

Good communication skills, both written & verbal

Min 3 (preferably 5+) years of drafting experience developing plans for buildings, preferably in post-frame industry
