Material Handler / Plant Operator

Location: Beeville, TX

Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Summary

The Material Handler (Plant Operator) is responsible for mixing drilling fluids, handling materials, and maintaining plant and warehouse operations. This role supports daily production, shipping, and receiving activities in an oilfield environment.

Key Responsibilities

Mix drilling fluids according to written instructions

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment

Strap, stage, and secure product for shipment

Maintain accurate records of product volumes, loads shipped, and loads received

Assist with inventory tracking and documentation

Keep the plant, warehouse, and yard areas clean and organized

Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

Prior warehouse, plant, or oilfield experience preferred

Forklift experience required (certification a plus)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in South Texas conditions

Basic math and record-keeping skills

Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions

Work Environment

Industrial plant setting

Exposure to dust, chemicals, and outdoor weather

Overtime as needed based on operational demand
