Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Health Center, located just one hour from Kansas City in Sedalia, Missouri, is seeking a CRNA to join their fantastic team.

Team of two board-certified anesthesiologists and four CRNAs

1:7 to 1:8 primary call and 1:7 to 1:8 backup; Backup call is one week at a time with rare call back.

Take call from home! Just be within a 30-minute response time while on call.

Anesthesiologists provide medical direction; surgeons provide supervision when CRNAs are first call

108 bed hospital; all cases are at just one hospital

Surgery department has five OR s, PACU with six recovery bays

Omni cell in each OR suite

Department has 11 pre-op rooms

All of these locations are in the same area

Endoscopy has two procedure rooms

Obstetrics unit has a dedicated OR

EMR Meditech; OR charting is paper

3200 OR cases per year.

26% Inpatient cases. 74% Outpatient cases.

Bread and butter cases: General Surgery, OB/Gyn, ENT, Ortho, Urology and Endoscopy

No heads, No hearts, No backs; No robotics to date

Most cases finished by 3:30 pm

Mostly paper charts in OR; the EMR is Meditech

480 deliveries per year.

34% C/S rate; 22% primary C/S

62% of patients choose to have epidurals

Requirements:

Experienced or new grads considered

Ability to obtain a Missouri license

Neuraxial & regional skills required. Expertise with Ultrasound guided techniques helpful

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $250,000 year W2 plus call pay (with 1:7 staffing)

1st call=800.00/Weekday

1st call=1200.00/Weekend day

2nd Call=160.00/Weekday

2nd Call=240.00/Weekend day
