Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major Medicaid system modernization project. The BA will work with business and technical teams to define requirements, improve processes, support system integration, and oversee application delivery and UAT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business systems, processes, and user needs.
- Develop and manage business/functional requirements and project artifacts.
- Perform business process mapping, reengineering, and solution analysis.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support project scope, acceptance, deployment, integration, and UAT.
- Coordinate with vendors and evaluate deliverables.
- Support requirements traceability, test cases, design, and technical documentation.
- Analyze policies, procedures, and standards impacting automated systems.
- Support documentation and delivery of functionality for Medicaid applications.
Required Experience:
8+ years in:
- coordinating with external vendors on projects/service requests.
- developing/reviewing requirements, test cases, traceability, design, and technical specifications.
- in system analysis, troubleshooting, and solution implementation.
- managing project scope, deployment, system integration, and UAT.
- identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- analyzing business policies, procedures, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years with TFS / Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirements management.
3+ years working in Agile / SAFe environments.
3+ years with MS Office, SharePoint, and Copilot.
Understanding of enterprise architecture, UI, data layers, infrastructure, integrations, workflow, and cloud solutions.
Experience with Medicaid and CHIP systems/processes.
Experience with state-level portfolio/project management tools.
