Supportive Living & Memory Care Community

Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Every Other Weekend Availability RequiredAbout the Role

High Point Residence Kankakee is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team.

In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care within our supportive living and memory care community. You will work closely with residents, families, physicians, and our care team to support each resident’s health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being.Key Responsibilities

Conduct resident health assessments and monitor changes in condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor residents and promptly communicate changes or concerns

Document resident care, progress, and responses to interventions

Collaborate with physicians, families, and team members to support resident care goals

Provide compassionate support to residents and families

Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment

Follow community policies, procedures, and applicable nursing regulationsMinimum Qualifications

Current RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compassionate and resident-focused approach to carePreferred Qualifications

Previous experience in long-term care, supportive living, assisted living, memory care, or geriatric nursing

Experience with electronic health record systemsJoin Our Team
