Machine Operator

Job Description

We are hiring a Machine Operator for a local steel company in Houston, TX.

Duties and Requirements

Machine Operation: Operate flame cutters, overhead cranes, and other heavy steel shop machinery

Physical Demand: Must be physically able to handle shop duties and stand or move for long periods

Training: Full on-site training provided for all equipment

Pay Rate: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour to start depending on experience

Experience preferred but not required, will train

Weekly Work Schedule

Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Saturday: Available occasionally for extra hours

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Steel Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
