Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list

Operating automatic equipment or hand solder for surface mount and mixed-technology boards

Visually inspecting printed circuit boards for defects

Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to Manager to obtain additional resources or direction

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations

Document actions by completing production and quality forms

Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed

Align, fit and assemble component parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, microscopes and soldering equipment.

Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures

Other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

Experience in assembling printed circuit boards and/or surface mount

Skilled at identifying components via component identification and color codes

Ability to read and interrupt schematics and assembly documents

Performing automated and manual testing of PCB’s

Oral and written communication skills for a team environment

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance

Detail oriented, organized, analytical Hand soldering

Knowledge of through hole and surface mount technology required

Experience with QUAD Pick & Place machines a plus

High School diploma or equivalent
