Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)-$7,500 dollar Sign On Bonus

Job Summary:

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a premier rehabilitation and healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Birchwood Terrace, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Assess and provide rehabilitation services to patients with various medical conditions, focusing on improving their communication skills and overall well-being

Develop and administer personalized treatment plans, setting realistic and achievable goals for each patient

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and their families on therapy methods and techniques

Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation

Qualifications:

Doctorate degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution

Valid professional license and registration to practice in the state of Vermont

Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred, but not required
