Role Description This is a full-time, remote Therapist role responsible for providing individualized, trauma-informed behavioral health services to clients in diverse communities. The Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth platforms.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, and participating in case consultations and clinical supervision as appropriate.
The role also involves coordinating care with external providers, supporting crisis intervention when needed, and actively contributing to ABH's client-centered, non-cookie-cutter approach to behavioral health services.
Qualifications
Clinical skills: Ability to conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches).
Client care skills: Strong skills in rapport-building, active listening, safety planning, and culturally responsive, person-centered care.
Communication and collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and coordinate care with external providers.
Remote practice and documentation: Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance practices.
Licensure and education: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; independent or associate-level clinical licensure (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) as required by state regulations.
Professional attributes: Commitment to ethical practice, trauma-informed care, and health equity; ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and maintain appropriate boundaries in a remote environment.
Preferred experience: Prior experience in community mental health, telehealth services, crisis intervention, or working with diverse populations and complex clinical presentations.
