Auto Mechanic

Job Description

As an Auto Mechanic, you will specialize in the maintenance and repair of trucks, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and various other vehicle types. Working within a small team of 2-5 mechanics, you will apply your expertise using both standard and advanced diagnostic tools, including OBD-II scanners and proprietary software, to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle diagnostics using standard and advanced tools

Conduct engine repairs and tune-ups on a range of vehicle types

Maintain and service brake systems for safety and reliability

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems

Replace parts and components as needed

Carry out safety inspections to comply with regulations

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in automotive repair

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

Proficiency with automotive diagnostics and engine repair

Knowledge of brake systems and electrical systems

Experience with preventive maintenance

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
