This role involves hands-on operation of heavy machinery—including trackhoes, backhoes, loaders, skidsteers, and dozers—along with overseeing utility installations and maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as trackhoes, backhoes, loaders, skidsteers, and dozers for utility installation and maintenance.
Manage and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Read blueprints and utilize pipe lasers for precise installation
Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in utility operations
Proficient in operating trackhoes, backhoes, loaders, skidsteers, and dozers
Strong knowledge of municipal utility systems and civil construction
Commitment to strict safety compliance
Effective problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and time management abilities
Ability to read blueprints and utilize pipe lasers
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
