• Salary: $22.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 48 hours per week

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Noisy, Odours, Dusty

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Cut, shape and join timber pieces or assemble pre-cut timber pieces to make wooden boats

• Assemble prefabricated parts and sections of fibreglass, metal or other materials to form boats

• Change machinery attachments

• Clean work area

• Caulk decks and hulls

• Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts and other accessories

• Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards

• Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications

• Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools

• Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components

• Manufacture and assemble different prefabricated fibreglass elements

Experience and specialization

Type of materials: Fibreglass, Wood

Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools, Trimmer

Boating experience: Motorboats, Sailboats

Coating/application specialization: Fibreglassing
