Year Up United seeks an early-career professional for a Financial Operations Training Opportunity in our Educational Services environment. In this role, you'll support invoice processing, expense tracking, reconciliations, and basic reporting while receiving structured training in accounting, budgeting, and financial systems. Working in a mission-driven, equity-focused nonprofit, you'll collaborate with program and employer partnership teams, build marketable financial operations skills, and contribute to expanding economic opportunity for diverse young adults.
Responsibilities
Support daily financial operations including invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliations under close supervision
Assist in preparing basic financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate financial records and data entry in relevant systems and spreadsheets
Collaborate with program and employer partnership teams to align financial processes with training activities
Learn and apply foundational concepts in accounting, budgeting, and compliance
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and coaching to build professional and technical skills
Communicate clearly with staff, students, and partners regarding routine financial questions
Contribute to a culture of equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement
