We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Harmony Gardens of Columbus. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.Position Summary

Harmony Gardens Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Personal Caregivers to join our team. The Personal Caregiver provides direct assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), promotes resident independence, and helps create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our residents.

The ideal candidate demonstrates kindness, patience, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.Essential Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including:

Bathing

Dressing

Grooming

Toileting

Mobility and transfers

Assist residents during meals and monitor food and fluid intake as directed.

Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Assist with recreational and social activities.

Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean and organized.

Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.

Document care and services provided according to facility policies.

Respond promptly to resident call systems and requests for assistance.

Work collaboratively with nurses, medication aides, and other team members.QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED

STNA

Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents safely.

Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment requirements.Preferred

Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or home health.

CPR/First Aid certification.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
