Reclamation Operator

Job Description

The Reclamation Operator plays a vital role in maintaining reclamation sites using standard heavy machinery. Working within a medium-sized team of operators and reporting to a supervisor, this position demands a focus on equipment operation, safety compliance, and maintenance. The operator will occasionally travel between sites to support reclamation efforts and ensure environmental and safety standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Operate standard heavy machinery including tractors, loaders, excavators and off-road trucks.

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Perform routine equipment maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

40 Hazwoper certification preferred; course will be provided before work commences

Proficient in heavy equipment operation

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Must be able to pass a drug test
