Job Title: EHS Coordinator

Location: Long Prairie, MN

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 per year

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an EHS Coordinator for a food manufacturing company in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, you’ll support and coordinate environmental, health, and safety programs while helping maintain regulatory compliance and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Coordinate and maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, procedures, and records

Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace observations, hazard assessments, and JHA/JSAs

Identify workplace hazards and work with supervisors and employees to develop and track corrective actions

Assist with workplace injury, incident, near-miss, and property damage investigations and track safety KPIs

Coordinate and conduct safety training, including new-hire orientation and refresher training

Maintain training records and certifications for LOTO, PITs, HazCom, PPE, and other applicable safety programs

Support environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, audits, waste management, and corrective action planning

What You Need to Bring to the EHS Coordinator Role:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS, workplace safety, or a related field required

Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices required

OSHA 30 training, safety certifications, OSHA recordkeeping experience, or audit experience preferred

Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, computer, and follow-through skills

Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, climb stairs and ladders, wear required PPE, and lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work safely around automated packaging equipment, forklifts, and large production equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Ability to travel to Cando, ND, as needed
