The ARP Next team with our Columbus, Ohio client has a contract need for a Data Reporting Engineer. The team is focused on managing the Data & Analytics data warehouse platform. This includes support of data ingest, data quality and data consumption related to the data warehouse platform. The ARP Next team is focused on modernizing a 20 year old On Prem MS SQL Server based data warehouse infrastructure into the Cloud.

Because we are an agile team, there are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects and maintenance items. The focus of this role will be to support reporting team through planning and hands on analysis and development

Skill Set:

Tableau

SQL Server

Snowflake

Advanced SQL Queries

Experience with project/development planning

Basic knowledge of ETL Processes

Ability to communicate with business stakeholders to obtain requirements

Data analysis

Organization

Ability to work independently as part of a large team and provide executive summary updates on progress Experience working in an agile framework

Experience working with multiple tasks and prioritizing work effectively

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates must be local to Columbus, Ohio

Relocation is not an option unless there is prior approval from both the business and HR.

Candidates must be willing and able to work the following:

Hybrid schedule (3 days in office & 2 days WFH)

Standard business hours (i.e., between 8 am – 5 pm EST)

Attend all scheduled team and department meetings.

Project Details & Day to Day:

Candidate will be focused on the delivery of data migration topics to ensure that high quality data is migrated from the legacy systems to the new systems. This may involve data mapping, SQL development and other technical activities to support Data Migration objectives.

Must Have Experience:

Strong Tableau skills

Strong technical analysis skills

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Exceptional ability to structure, illustrate, and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding and actionable insights.

Demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and uncertainties in a fast-paced environment.

Strong prioritization and time management skills to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices, with the ability to adapt and implement Agile principles in testing and delivery processes.

Nice to have:

ETL design and development; data mapping skills and experience; experience executing/driving technical design and implementation topics

Finance, Lease / Loan or Automotive experience are a plus
