Mechatronics Discipline Lead

The Mechatronics Discipline Lead is a professional, credentialed educator with the primary responsibility of providing a high-quality learning experience for Robeson Community College students enrolled in the Mechatronics program. The Discipline Lead is responsible for, but not limited to, planning, organizing, promoting, coordinating, and teaching Mechatronics courses while providing leadership for the continued development and success of the program. The Discipline Lead is expected to perform all instruction-related duties in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of Robeson Community College, the North Carolina Community College System, and all applicable accrediting agencies. Specifically, the Mechatronics Discipline Lead is responsible for ensuring the Mechatronics program maintains current and relevant curriculum, appropriate instructional content and pedagogy, and compliance with all curriculum, accreditation, and industry standards. The Discipline Lead will oversee curriculum development, assessment, program improvement, adjunct faculty support, advisory committee engagement, and student success initiatives while maintaining the quality and integrity of the certificate, diploma, and degree programs. The Mechatronics Discipline Lead is also responsible for providing student support services and performing other duties as assigned.
