Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong focus on full stack and backend development to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications supporting mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performance software solutions, developing robust APIs and microservices, and collaborating across engineering teams to deliver reliable, modern applications in a fast-paced environment.

This position is well suited for an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, contributing to system architecture, and building resilient cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.

Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs supporting enterprise applications.

Develop and optimize server-side logic, data processing workflows, and application integrations.

Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between backend services and user interfaces.

Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code following industry best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Implement secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

Utilize Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.

Support cloud-native application development within AWS environments.

Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support operational systems.

Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

7+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in full stack application development.

Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as:

Node.js

Python

Java

Experience developing applications using frameworks such as Spring Boot.

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Experience developing applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.

Experience with Git version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of secure software development principles, authentication, authorization, and application security.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile development teams. Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing front-end applications using Angular or Vue.js.

Experience with Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of SecDevOps methodologies and secure software delivery practices.

Experience with automated testing and test automation frameworks.
