You'll lead the estimating effort on large, complex mechanical projects — owning pricing strategy, mentoring junior estimators, and serving as a key voice in bid strategy discussions with senior leadership.\n \n What You'll Do:\n Lead take-offs and cost estimates for large-scale mechanical (piping, plumbing, sheet metal, HVAC) projects from concept through final bid\n Review and analyze complex project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine full scope of work\n Conduct site visits to gather data on project conditions and constraints\n Develop comprehensive bid proposals outlining scope, cost breakdown, and key qualifications\n Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors, maintaining strong supplier relationships\n Identify and assess project risks, proposing mitigation strategies that protect margin\n Collaborate directly with project executives, project managers, architects, and engineers to refine estimates and align with project goals\n Mentor and support junior estimators, helping build a stronger, deeper estimating bench\n \n What We're Looking For:\n 5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating (piping, plumbing, sheet metal, HVAC)\n Proven track record estimating large, complex commercial and industrial projects\n Proficiency in estimating software\n Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities\n Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\n Leadership or mentorship experience a plus\n \n What We Offer:\n Competitive Salary ($130K-$160K BOE) + Bonus\n Career Growth Opportunities within a rapidly expanding company\n Comprehensive Benefits Package – Health, 401K match, and Life Insurance\n Paid Time Off – Holidays, PTO, and Personal Days\n Join Us!
