Deli Associate

The Deli Associate is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food while providing excellent customer service in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. This position includes food preparation, sandwich making, stocking, cleaning, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced food service setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take customer orders accurately.

Recommend menu items and answer questions about products.

Resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously.

Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Food Preparation

Prepare sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, and other deli items according to recipes and customer requests.

Slice meats and cheeses using commercial slicers safely.

Prepare ingredients for daily service.

Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently.

Package take-out orders accurately.
