Job description*:

#Key Responsibilities:

#Database Administration:

· Install, configure, and upgrade Neo4j Enterprise Edition environments.

· Manage Neo4j clusters including Core and Read Replica nodes.

· Maintain production, UAT, DR, and development database environments.

· Configure and administer Neo4j on Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.

· Perform database patching, version upgrades, and migration activities.

Production Support:

· Provide L2/L3 support for Neo4j production environments.

· Monitor database health, availability, and performance.

· Troubleshoot database outages, performance degradation, and application connectivity issues.

· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

· Support 24x7 on-call rotations and critical incident management.

#Performance Tuning:

· Analyze and optimize Cypher queries.

· Monitor query execution plans and identify bottlenecks.

· Create and maintain indexes and constraints.

· Optimize graph data models for improved query performance.

· Perform capacity planning and resource optimization.

#Backup and Recovery:

· Configure and manage Neo4j backup solutions.

· Perform periodic backup validation and restoration testing.

· Support disaster recovery drills and failover testing.

· Ensure RPO and RTO compliance for critical applications.

#High Availability & Clustering:

· Administer Neo4j causal clustering environments.

· Configure cluster replication and synchronization.

· Monitor cluster health and leader elections.

· Resolve cluster communication and consistency issues.

· Implement failover and resilience mechanisms.
