Orthodontic Assistant

Job Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Orthodontic Assistant, located in Fallbrook, CA. The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for providing support during orthodontic procedures, ensuring instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Additional tasks may include preparing patients for procedures, taking dental impressions, and providing patient instructions regarding oral hygiene and orthodontic care.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Orthodontics

Knowledge and experience in Dental Assisting

Thorough understanding and application of Sterilization practices for instruments and equipment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members

Certification in dental assisting and/or orthodontic assisting preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment\nCompany Description

We are a private orthodontic practice with a holistic and integrative approach to orthodontic treatment for our patients. We look at more that just the bite and the teeth, but also determine the cause(s) of the bad bite and work with other specialists to correct them. Whether its a blocked nasal airway, a finger/thumb/object oral habit, a tongue tie, allergies, lack of proper facial muscle function/tone, large tonsils/adenoids, constricted palate, poor sleep pattern, or any other cause(s), we will correct them in order to obtain and excellent functional bite with an amazing smile within balanced and harmonious facial supporting structures. A holistic and integrative approach insures that long term stability and overall better health our patients can be achieved successfully.
